The TRELIAN Trilogy by Michelle Knudsen
series rebranding for middle-grade fantasy trilogy
The TRELIAN series design involved rebranding a middle-grade fantasy trilogy by creating a new look for the concluding hardcover title as well as a similar design for the e-books and paperbacks of the first two titles. We did not want to lose the illustrative styles of the original covers but also wanted a more graphic approach. By drawing the arch framework and combining some previous illustrations with new stock imagery, I was able to create a series look that evokes the medieval fantasy setting of the stories and unify all three titles.
