Art Direction for board book series

I was so excited to work on the latest installments of Leslie Patricelli’s board book series. HAIR was especially fun, with it’s inventive cover that manages to stand out from the ongoing series while still aligning with the overall aesthetic. Another fun shift was screening text black for the final page of NIGHTY-NIGHT to reinforce the story’s final moment while still adhering to production requirements for coeditions. Both books, which were released simultaneously, continued the beloved series without feeling tedious.
