GRANDDADDY’S TURN was a wonderful design experience. It required thoughtful page turns and pacing, as well as close attention to detail for historical accuracy. The jacket direction was especially challenging, since James Ransome needed to create a scene that appropriately illustrated the story without revealing the ending. He painted a beautiful piece full of emotion that fits the book perfectly.
