The EXQUISITE CORPSE ADVENTURE was a project by Jon Scieszka, the National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature in 2008-2009. Multiple authors each wrote a separate episode, available to read here. The jacket for the published edition needed to relate to the online edition and also emphasize the unusual collaboration. By using multiple fonts and graphic arrows, the jacket and paperback covers reflect the patchwork origin of the story itself.
