Art direction for middle grade graphic novel series
Graphic novels are inherently huge projects and the MAKER GIRL AND PROFESSOR SMARTS series was no exception. In addition to art directing such a large endeavor with a debut author/illustrator, I needed to be in constant discussion with editorial, production, and sales to ensure we had schedule that worked for everyone. The end result is the start of a wonderfully engaging and accessible STEM series with fantastic DIY activities and helpful backmatter.
