This unusual picture book was quite the ride to work on! Starting with a manuscript and a rough outline of suggested photographs, I needed to assemble a book with many moving parts. Using NASA brand guidelines, graph paper, and stock photos, I was able to create a layout style that balanced curated photographs, illustrations, sidebars, and captions (while also adhering to print restrictions for easy text translations). The result is a charming step-by-step guide for aspiring astronauts!
