DESIGN OF REFORMATTED anniversary edition with original, full-color artwork
The original multimedia artwork for CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG was so much fun to work with. By picking up spot art and creating simple display type styles, I was able to design a new format that gives the original story and art plenty of space. All production specs reinforce that this is a special edition, from the coated interior stock and metallic silver endpapers to textured case with a deboss. The jacket was a challenge, but by printing the art over a foil stamp we were able to give the Magical Car some very appropriate shine.
